How do I invite friends to a round?

Two ways:
Share the join code or link - from the lobby tap "Invite Friends" to copy a link or share via WhatsApp/iMessage.
Add saved friends directly - if you've added them to your Friends list, you can include them when creating the round.

Guests can join with the code without needing an account.

What's the saved friends list for?

Saved friends speed up creating future rounds - instead of asking each person to enter the code, you can include them when creating the round. Their handicap is remembered too.

Manage saved friends in Profile → My Friends. Add them by name + handicap, or by their friend code if they also have an account.

How do I add a friend by their friend code?

Accepted Answer

Every account has a 6-character friend code, shown at the top of your Profile. Share yours from the Profile page (tap Share or copy).

To add someone, ask for their code, go to Profile → My Friends → Add → "Add by friend code", and enter it. They appear in your saved friends list with their real name and handicap.

How do I remove a player from a round?

As host, open the lobby (or the scorecard via the players list) and remove the player from there. Their pending scores are dropped from the round.

If the round is already in progress, removing a player keeps the rest of the group's scores intact - the leaderboard recalculates instantly.

Question 5

Can I rejoin a round I left?

Accepted Answer

Yes. As long as the round isn't completed, just tap "Join a Round" and re-enter the join code with the same name. The host may need to re-approve you.

Your previous scores stay attached to your player entry - nothing is lost.

Question 6

How do I complete a round?

Accepted Answer

When the last hole is scored, the host taps "Finish Round" on the scorecard. This marks the round complete, locks scoring, and opens the Round Summary with final standings and settlements.

If you need to end the round early, the host can use "End Round Early" - entered scores are kept, unplayed holes are left blank.

Where can I see my past rounds?

Sign in and open the Home screen - your recent rounds are listed below the action buttons. Tap any round to open its summary, leaderboard and settlements.

Lifetime stats (rounds played, average score, best round, skins won) are shown on your Profile page.

How do I share the round summary?

On the Round Summary screen tap Share. You can send a link to the live leaderboard (no sign-in needed to view) or share an image of the final standings to your group chat.

What do the Verified and Unverified badges mean?

Accepted Answer

When you search for a course, each result shows a small badge telling you how trustworthy the course data is.
Verified - The course has been hand-checked by the Golf with Mates team. Par, stroke index, course rating and slope have been confirmed against the club's official scorecard or rating body. Handicap math on a verified course is as accurate as the club's own card.
Unverified - The course was imported automatically from public sources. It's usually correct, but a few numbers may still be off until someone reviews it. You can still play and score on it like normal.

Spot something wrong on an unverified (or verified) course? Tap the pencil on the scorecard, or long-press a hole to report a wrong stroke index, par or distance. We review every report and update the course - and once everything checks out, it becomes Verified.
