I'm not getting push notifications - how do I fix it?
Push only works in the native iPhone / Android app (not in the browser). Quick checklist:
- OS-level permission: iPhone → Settings → Notifications → Golf with Mates → Allow Notifications on. Android → Settings → Apps → Golf with Mates → Notifications → allow.
- In-app preferences: open Profile → Notifications and confirm the categories you care about (round invites, scores, settlements) are toggled on.
- Signed in on this device: notifications go to the device where you're actively signed in. If you switched phones, sign in on the new one and open the app once so it can register.
- App is up to date: install the latest version from the App Store / Google Play - older builds may have known push issues.
- Do Not Disturb / Focus modes: check your phone isn't silencing notifications for the app.
